Brawth
Where the Highlands meet the Lowlands….. Where a full meal can be served in just one bowl….. Where a good song is as important as friendship….. Where the fire roars and warms….. Where melody, words and conviviality are among the things passed between people…..
There you will find brawth.

pookah + drawler = brawth
*******************************
brawth is pronounced the same as ‘broth'. its just a clever way of spelling it as the scots word ‘braw' means great. it also stops us getting lambasted for a 1970 album we never released.

REMEMBER, IF IT'S TOO HOT….BLOW ON IT.

About Maria Hall
I am a singer/songwriter based in the North of Scotland, I have been involved in music for many years. I have played and sung blues, rock, grunge, alternative folk and much, much more with bands like ’The Blues Mamas’, ’Mad Dog’, ’Marandra’, ’Dr’ JKLM’ and ’Rapscalion’. I also sang and recorded with Martin Stephenson and I am eternally grateful to him for teaching me so much about the music business and for allowing me to join him on some of the best gigs I’ve ever done. Besides this, I was instrumental in running a musical organisation that assisted and developed budding musicians from my then local area. We ran successful festivals and hopefully inspired some of our members to embark upon a musical career. I also have a love of animals and in particular my Irish Wolfhounds and Beagles which I successfully show throughout Britain.
Presently, I am writing and singing my own material.
About Andrew “The Blue Bandana” Huggan
I am a singer/songwriter from a little town called Sauchie in Scotland. I have been playing various instruments since I was knee-high to a grasshopper and have in the last few years taught myself to sing and play guitar, and also to record my own songs. I am currently working on my first album, and it is finally starting to come together! I have performed informally in various pubs including McNeil's in Stornoway, the Drumnadrochit Hotel in Drumnadrochit, The Ceilidh Place and Arch Inn in Ullapool, McNab's in Portree, Mishnish in Tobermory and Lloyds Bar in Bristol. I performed my songs “Take Me Away Across the Sea” and “Lonely Lonely Night” live on BBC Radio nan Gaidheal during the Hebridean Celtic Festival 2007. I also came in as a finalist in the “Everything You Hear” karaoke competition at Runrig's Beat the Drum gig this august. Some footage of me was included in a gaelic documentary on STV about the event, called “Abhainn an t-Sluaigh”,
