Gill and Lyds go and anticipate their award at the Digital Music Awards where we hd been shortlisted in the best podcast category-(BRING IT ON!)

Alas the highlight of the night was touching Patrick Wolf's leg, which in itself isnt that great when you consider that i didnt get to touch the leg of greatness... but there was wine, a little live music ,a la the Sugar Babes, and some half decent steak and ale pie...

Secret Garden Party Festival

Gill and Lydia take a trip to Cambridge to the very Secret Garden Party...the music festival more like a country fete/hippie commune/school leaving party...just brilliant. Group hula-hooping, sock wrestling, mud wrestling, rolling down hills in tractor tyres, haystacks, playpens, nests, boat races, galleons, fire, fireworks, tee-pees, wagons, dancing, music and 7000 people in the most beautiful countryide Cambridgeshire has to offer... fabule... heres a look...oh and Micachu features in the episode with an exclusive ad-hoc performance atop the Old Blue in Shoreditch, and a few words from the unusual talent, one of the acts from the festival.

We caught Conor Oberst in London whilst on tour, and he gave us an exclusive interview and impromptu rendition in the the intimate surroundings of his hotel bedroom.

Gill chatted about the tour, recording in Mexico and playing on the campaign for Barrack Obama.

Gill and Lydia journey down to the Isle of Wight Festival, to give a little insight into the resurrected legendary festival of 1969, 7 and 71. We bump into The Hoosiers and the Joel from JK and Joel, the son of a Sex Pistol and a few unique punters onsite... Hark we got a little boozed up listening to the Kaiser Chiefs and N.E.R.D. and the rather fabulous Wombats, who we hear will be doing some studio time with Sir Paul McCartney...

Gill Mills and Flyposter represent at the BTPodshow lauch party at Shoreditch House, East London.

Whilst intending to showcase the admirable BTPodShow and all its shows and talents unfortuneatly we got sidetracked into annoying celebs and gathering gossip whilst people were blatantly far to far gone on the free bar, ourselves included...

apologese must go out to Sam Sparro amongst others, who as our last interview of the night got the full brunt of Lydia and Gill drunken advances... trapped alone at the top of SHoreditch House...

Although we found the Camden Crawl to be lacking in many ways this year, that didnt put Gill off putting in a few words with a couple of up and coming darlings of the music industry and probing into their soft spots.

Post war years, Metronomy and Operator Please all gave us a little of their time during the madness of what really is a music tourists paradise aka the Camden Crawl...
