Very saddened to hear of the demise this week of one of TFL's long-standing friends and fave local bands. Who is it ? You'll have to listen to find out. On the more positive side, there's a new band to the podcast kicking the proceedings off in energetic fashion and they're definitely one to watch, as are another new Edinburgh band on the block ! So – an all-UK line up this week. Enjoy !

Formally known as the audience... the power of collaboration - Part 2
In this seminar we looked at new collaborative business models in which the customer/audience and creative business work together to produce content across TV, Film and Design.

The next generation of customers will be more active and creative in building content. Can this be harnessed to build new business models to benefit both? But how does this work and what benefit is it for the customer to contribute to design?

- Can a profitable business model be built on sharing and collaborations?
- Should the customer be paid for their contribution?
- What rights do they have?
- Can it produce a better product?

digital content and stories for brands to deliver original, high
quality, personalised and measurable experiences across multiple digital

Tweeting out Loud! - What's the Point?

Uberblogger and podcasting pioneer Mr Dave Winer has been having some fun with creating audio 'tweets' in Twitter. After reading his blog and visiting this site. I did the same thing! Currently all posts must be under 200k which at a 64k recording resolution adds up to only 25 seconds. Also you can't post more than one audio tweet every 10 minutes.

Great fun, or as Mr Deek Deekster stated earlier "pointless"? I'm not sure yet. No doubt if someone finds a point, they'll tell us all about it on Twitter! If you'd like to add anything to this conversation leave the url of your twittergram here and I'll link to it below. Alternatively, behave in a curmudgeonly fashion and simply type something in the comments box!

Here's my first! :)
